I honestly think if I was given the genuine chance to have the fame, mind set, and disposition of one famous movie star, it would be George Clooney. Not only does he pick amazing films and deliver breathtaking performances, he also is the very definition of the three C’s. He is ALWAYS calm, cool, and collected. You definitely cannot say that about most of the leading men in Hollywood. Well, he recently did an extensive interview with Esquire magazine, and without even trying, the guy just adds to his legend.
USA TODAY has the summary of the article, but I think we can give you a summary of the summary. First, George Clooney talks about Twitter. Basically, he says stay off it. If you’re famous, you are bound to slip up one night and change the way the whole world looks at you. Not worth it is Clooney’s stance.
He then talks about how when he has massive dinners with friends and family, there is a no cell-phone rule. He says you won’t see many pictures from those nights because he makes sure they are too busy experiencing it to stop and take photos of it. Okay, well, he DOES keep getting cooler and cooler. We tell our friends “no cellphones” they laugh at us. George Clooney says it and they listen.
Then, to wrap it all up, he talks about how Brad Pitt is the man and seems to know how to balance fame and a personal live better than anyone George Clooney has ever met. He thinks more actors should follow Brad’s lead. Overall, it was a great interview that showed us that the mega-stardom that Clooney has attained is very much well deserved.
