Its a Boy Meets World Reunion on Girl Meets World

Ever since it was announced that Boy Meets World’s Cory and Topanga were coming back to televisions all over the world in a new series called “Girl Meets World,” in which the high school sweethearts are a married couple with a few kids of their own, the world has been in heaven. The show was one that my generation grew up with, and it was one that we all loved. And it was also the show on which the very first ever bromance was formed between Ben Savage’s Cory and Rider Strong’s Shawn (and if we are willing to admit it, Mr. Feeney and Cory’s brother).

Well, we have some big news for you. Rider Strong is set to make an appearance during the Christmas special of “Girl Meets World,” and it’s going to be a reunion you do not want to miss. It’s the first time the world has seen Shawn and Cory together again since they were teenagers, and we’re all a bit anxious to see what happened when Shawn grew up.

The special episode is set to debut on December 5, and it looks like Shawn sees a bit of himself and Cory in Cory’s daughter and her best friend. As far as what will happen in the show, Strong opened up a few months ago about how he saw his potential future appearance on the show going.

“We’ve talked about it a little bit. I think he’s got to be in trouble of some kind and he’s got to pull Cory into trouble. That’s definitely the way it’s going to be in because that’s always how it went. I’d like to see him happier. I feel like Shawn was destined for tragedy. I mean, gosh, they killed my father, my mother abandoned me, my girlfriend and I broke up at the end of the show. They really just made Shawn’s life hell.  It would be good if he’s in trouble but in general is happy,” and we couldn’t agree more.
