Telco founder Jodee Rich has listed the luxurious Vaucluse trophy home — that ASIC once tried to seize — with a $30m price guide.
The five-bedroom mansion at 2 Queens Ave, designed by architect Ian Mackay, has panoramic views from the Harbour Bridge to Rose Bay and is only steps away from Queens Beach and the Hermitage Walk.
It’s in the same street as the luxurious home that sold for $39.5m recently to Sydney FC boss Scott Barlow and his wife, Alina.
Now listed with Ray White Double Bay principal Elliott Placks with co-agent Michael Finger of McGrath Double Bay, the stunning residence at No.2 has been the Rich family home for 32 years, bought for $1.95m in 1990.

Property records show that it was transferred from John David “Jodee” Rich to his wife, Maxine, in June 2001, just days after the mobile phone company he founded, One-Tel, collapsed.
Corporate regulator ASIC tried to recover up to $93m from Rich — along with $5m he transferred to his wife — for the benefit of One.Tel creditors in a court battle lasting eight years, but ultimately failed.
ASIC had cited Jodee Rich’s interest in the family home at Queens Ave, and his share of the sale proceeds of “Craigend” at Darling Point as the assets he’d transferred to his wife.

In the upcomng ad, the Queens St home is described as a “prestigious waterfront address”.
The three-level residence offers a range of indoor and outdoor entertainment areas and there’s a rooftop terrace with spectacular views.
