Phillip “P. J.” Walker is a 27-year-old professional American football quarterback who currently plays for the Carolina Panthers in the NFL.
He also played for the XFL’s Houston Roughnecks in 2020, where he led the league in passing yards and touchdowns before the team was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He attended Temple University and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Indianapolis Colts in 2017.
He was named the AAC Offensive Player of the Week and was a nominee for the Manning Award. Following a 59-49 loss against SMU in week 9, Walker got his first collegiate weekly award.
Walker received three honorable mentions in the 2014 college football season and passed for at least one touchdown in each of his first seven games. He also set a career-high in completions (29) and pass attempts (49) in a Week 2 loss to the Navy.
